Hot on the heels of a wonderful turn out at the Wolf Hollow Witches market at the Boone County Fair Grounds back on October 5th, I'm going to try having a booth at Artist's Alley at the new Anime Magic Ink'd Con at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, IL on November 1, 2, and 3. I look forward to meeting a whole new group of art lovers at this anime/tattoo convention. My good friend Amy Porter from https://www.alchemytattoogallery.com/ will have a booth there as well! The original Anime Magic convention held in the summer is put on by some good friends of mine who really care about making a fun and inclusive experience for the anime lovers who visit. I'm sure this new convention which focuses on the tattoo artists who pay tribute to anime will be no different.
My artwork is not anime but I do have lots of jewelry that I would call "anime adjacent" and many tattoo artists have told me that my art has a linework quality that is reminiscent of tattoo work. I would love to learn to tattoo one day but until that day I will have my painting, Jewelry, Stickers and more available to those who would support my art.
